David M. Patin, Jr. was born in New Orleans, LA. He is a proud alumnus of Texas Wesleyan University School of Law (now Texas A&M) and of Louisiana State University (GEAUX TIGERS!). David has successfully litigated, consulted and negotiated on behalf of his clients regarding a variety of legal matters. David has actively participated in a wide assortment of legal matters ranging from Personal Injury, Breach of Contract and DTPA to DWI, Murder and Capital Murder-Death Penalty cases.
Prior to attending law school at the age of 27, David, along with his sister Zahn Patin, owned DaZa’s New Orleans Soul food in the Deep Ellum area. In 2005, DaZa’s was a refuge for victims of Hurricane Katrina. As a non-traditional law student and lawyer Mr. Patin has been able to channel his valuable professional experience and insight as an entrepreneur into his practice and has rendered tremendous successful results for his clients.
David’s passion is litigation and advocacy. David learned a vast array of best practices while under the mentorship and tutelage of attorney Mike Heiskell and Judge L. Clifford Davis.
David is a member of the Texas Bar – Litigation Section, Texas Trial Lawyers Association, Dallas Trial Lawyers Association, Dallas Bar Association.
David’s wife, Letetia M. Patin is an attorney and the managing Partner at the Patin Law Group, PLLC. In his spare time, David enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, playing Rock Band, reading comics and binge watching Netflix.
